Step 1 of 2

Evesham, Worcestershire

Extension & Garage Roofs

Felt flat roofs on extensions and garages in Evesham tend to crack, blister and open at the joints as they age. The choice between EPDM rubber and GRP fibreglass comes down to the roof size, its shape and whether people will stand on it.

Beyond Evesham, flat roof work covers Pershore, Worcester and Droitwich Spa, so an inspection of your roof is simple to arrange.

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Regent for Flat Roofs

Both EPDM and GRP are fitted in Evesham, so the recommendation is about what suits your roof rather than the only system on offer.

Three Systems, One Roofer

Felt, EPDM and GRP are all fitted, so you get the covering that suits the roof rather than the only one on offer.

Named Products

Rubbercover EPDM and Cure It GRP are the systems used, so you know what goes on your roof.

Deck Checked First

Soft boards are found and replaced first, so the new covering goes down on a sound base.

Sealed Edge Details

Trims, upstands and outlets are where flat roofs leak, so every one is sealed as part of the job.

FAQs

Evesham FAQs

Do You Cover Evesham?

Yes. Evesham is one of the Worcestershire areas Regent Roofing covers, along with nearby Pershore, Worcester and Droitwich Spa. Call 0800 151 2875 with your postcode to arrange a visit.

How Do I Get a Quote for Flat Roofs in Evesham?

Ring 0800 151 2875 or email [email protected], giving your postcode and what needs doing. The roof is seen in person before any price is given.

What Is the Difference Between EPDM & GRP?

EPDM is a synthetic rubber laid as a single sheet, so most extension and garage roofs end up with few or no joints, and it stays flexible as the building moves. GRP is fibreglass matting set in resin with a hard topcoat, giving a rigid, joint-free finish that is good for roofs with foot traffic or awkward details.

Can a New Flat Roof Go Over My Old Felt?

Usually not. Covering old felt hides any damp or rot in the deck underneath, so the old roof is stripped first and any soft boards are replaced before the new covering goes down.

Which Is Better for a Garage Roof?

EPDM is often the simpler choice for a plain rectangular garage roof, because it goes down as one sheet. GRP can suit garages that take foot traffic or that have more complicated edges. The inspection settles which fits best.

Can You Fit a Flat Roof Around a Roof Lantern?

Yes. Roof lights and lanterns are detailed into both EPDM and GRP roofs, with the upstand sealed so water cannot get in around the frame.
